I was very moved last week when you suggested a new venue for my project – the prisons. Thank you for taking the time to share the details of what it is like, not only to be incarcerated in a jail in California, but to actually have survived being held in the “Hole.”
I would love to find a sponsor and do what you suggested. I know the kind of man that you are – -giving, kind, compassionate and loving. Your strong message of faith impressed me, when you shared last week. Your past actions were coming from a place of being very wounded in your early life.
Your personal pain led to the direction that your life took. I am so sorry that an addiction and early life trauma led to the decisions that put you in a horrible place. I am so glad that you have dedicated your life to serving others. You are really making a difference. Congratulations on being accepted into the University Program for Criminal Justice.
You are only 27 years old and you have your whole life ahead of you. I am wishing you the very best!
