A beautiful woman was sitting by the door today as I entered carrying all of my stuff into the nursing home. Eileen looked like she was about 80-years-old. I bet she was a model, a Miss America or an actress in her younger years. On another visit, the activity director told me that they had just celebrated her 100th birthday.
The first time that I met her, she told me she was 78. The other resident said with amusement, “She always lies about her age.” Then another resident said she was a tattletale……..boy, I haven’t heard that word in awhile.
