I sent the email below to local activity directors today.

Dear Activity Directors,

Lots of smiles! Yes, the unexpected thrill of someone giving you flowers says “Somebody cares. Somebody is thinking of you!” We are currently scheduling “petals and blooms” visits for the month of October. This is just a kind of “random acts of flowers.”

You can use them in any way that you would like – for a flower arranging activity, for your residents, to show appreciation to the people on your staff, to decorate your lobby, dining room or activity room. Local florists donate their flowers to us ……and we bring them to you, as a simple day brightener for all!

I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you for all that you do to bring joy to your residents!

This is the first response received today from the above email.

Hello Trisha!

My supervisor asked me to coordinate a visit here in Lansdale.

We would love flowers.  Please let us know if and when

Thank you,

Sue
